The course has the following contents:
 * Key concepts in the areas of business processes and workflow
 * Different perspectives of business processes
 * Modeling of business processes
 * How to choose a modeling methodology (technology / language) that is suitable for a particular project
 * Business Process Support (BPS) system
 * Workflow-based BPS vs. Case Management / Adaptive Case Management (CM / ACM) system
 * Executable business process models and tools
 * Traditional vs. Agile business process development

== Aim ==
After the course the student should be able to:
 * Explain and apply the terminology, principles and theories in the areas of business processes and case management and Business Process Support system
 * Choose a method for modeling of business processes that are suitable for a given business process and set general requirements for the computer-based system designed to support this process
 * Build an executable model of a business process that can be used to set detailed requirements for a computer-based system to support this process
