After completing this course the student should be able to:
. demonstrate a good knowledge of modern risk and decision analysis.
. demonstrate a basic knowledge of multi-criteria theory.
. compare different methods to analyze decisions and risks, and
explain their advantages and disadvantages.
. show how risk and decision analysis is applicable to real problems. 
== Syllabus ==
The course focuses on applications of risk and decision analytic techniques in business and society. The risk analytic aspects of decision making under risk and multi-criteria decision analysis are central parts of the course.

== Outline ==
The course is provided as a distance based self study course. The amount of meetings and seminars are dependent on available resources.
