Aim

After completing this course the student should be able to:

• demonstrate a good knowledge of modern risk and decision analysis.
• demonstrate a basic knowledge of multi-criteria theory.
• compare different methods to analyze decisions and risks, and explain their advantages and disadvantages.
• show how risk and decision analysis is applicable to real problems.

Syllabus

The course focuses on applications of risk and decision analytic techniques in business and society. The risk analytic aspects of decision making under risk and multi-criteria decision analysis are central parts of the course.

The course is provided as a distance based self study course. The amount of meetings and seminars are dependent on available resources.
