The course addresses the strategic business aspects of digitization and partly change management in organizations to achieve the strategic objectives digitization creates conditions for. Information Technology's role has changed from being supportive to form the basis for modern business strategies. With the rapid development of technology challenges digitization traditional strategies and highlights emerging strategies. The course also discusses the differences between change management in private and public organizations.
After the course the student should be able to:
- Describe and discuss the models and methods of business strategy
- Describe and discuss the models and methods of change management in both private and public organizations
- Discuss the digitizations role in the development of business strategies
- Select and apply models for digital business strategies and change management in specific cases.
The course is given as a distance course. The course is given in english.
