EGOV - Open e-governance and e-democracy

Requirements

60 hp computer and systems sciences (or equivalent).

Short description

The course describes the historical development of e-government and e-democracy and addressing emerging phenomenon open e-government by discussing the way in which information and communication technologies has changed and will change the public sector. The course focuses on theories of e-democracy, public administration and information systems. Several case studies of e-government will be presented and discussed.
