Aim
After the course the student should be able to:
- Define basic concepts such as public information systems and e-government. Describe the principles for public information systems architecture, product-based as well as service oriented.
- Demonstrate knowledge of applicable methods in the subject area, such as requirements management, process design and development methods for information systems.
- Demonstrate the skills required to independently use the information systems to design and execute processes such as municipal matters.
- Demonstrate an ability to make assessments of the ethical implications regarding e-government.
Syllabus
- Introduction to public information systems for e-government with view of the area.
- Models and methods for the development and implementation of public information systems.
- The course aims to help students' knowledge of public information systems from several perspectives: technological, organizational, professional and ethical.
