Project and Power Games from a system theory perspective

Aim
The student should be able to carry out power games in organizations and specifically know:
- How to negotiate to win
- How to handle group processes end personal empowerment
- How to present and argue for complex ideasbased on rhetorical principles
- How to promote creativity and innovation
- How to diagnose organisational cultures
- How to measure work performance
- How to control the workforce
Syllabus
- We will study theories concerning leadership, organisation, group dynamics and project methodology
- Each student will participate in 7 seminars where the student is trained to be a leader
- We will study theories concerning human relationships, negotiation and conflict resolution
- We will study theories about game theory and experiment with various strategies in how to gain power in a competitive environment
- We will study the art of delegating responsibility and power without losing control
- During the whole course there is a focus on communication skills
