After the course the student should be able to:

• Understand the security requirements in complex systems and e-services
• Be aware of security threats and attacks
• Understand and manage security risks
• Have knowledge of the legislation in security
• Evaluate and select controls to provide assurance of complex systems and e-services
• Establish and/or improve the security of systems and e-services

Syllabus

The course includes the following areas:

• Basic safety principles of e-governance
• Security of IT systems and e-services
• Security threats and attacks
• Methods and controls to prevent, detect and minimize security vulnerabilities
• Risk Management
• Incident Management
• Legal requirements for security and privacy regarding information management in complex systems and e-services
