= SECLAW - Legal Aspects of Information Security = == Requirements == 90 hp Computer and Systems Sciences with at least: * 7,5 hp introduction to information- and computer security == Aim == The overall aim of the course is to understand the general ICT security demands/criteria that emanate from a combination of the law and a specific application including subsequent demands on procedures and processes in international environments. This means that the student should be able to Define and describe vital concepts and procedures for contemporary legally relevant ICT oriented problem areas Identify and report on some specific contemporary legally relevant ICT oriented problem area Recognize, classify and apply definitions and descriptions on realistic cases in the intersection of the law and ICT Analyze, compare and generate ideas for handling legal ICT problems Report and present in scientific manners, written and orally, descriptions and analyzes of some current legal ICT issue or matter. == Syllabus == The course consists of the following themes: * Law in a digital environment * Freedom of information and privacy protection * E-government * Intellectual property rights on the Internet * Intellectual property law and ownership in employment relationships * Designing a legal interface for contracting on the Internet * E-procurement * Electronic signatures in a legal context * Dispute resolution on the Internet * Criminal law in an internet environment. == Outline == The course consists of lectures and seminars. <> ---- CategoryCategory
